Thank you for choosing our dental health care team. Each time you come to our office we want you to have a pleasant and wonderful experience. Your satisfaction and care is our top priority. We have an excellent staff that is highly trained and available to serve your every need. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and your family. Please let us know if you have any special requests.
Your first visit at Ustick Dental Office is the perfect chance for us to get to know each other. We agree that your time is valuable, and choosing a dental provider is an important decision. This appointment time has been reserved specifically for you, so we encourage you to ask questions and share with us anything you want us to know to help make your care as personalized as you'd expect. When our doctors decide to accept you as a patient, we intend to exceed your expectations and look forward to continuing a lasting relationship with you.
Part of getting to know you and providing safe, customized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications can affect your treatment recommendations. In preparation for your visit, we request that you provide us with your complete medical history and a list of your medications (including vitamins and supplements) when filling out our Patient Info Form, which submits directly to us online. This will allow us to maximize your experience in our office.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your reserved time to allow us to gather any additional details needed. A member of our team will give you a tour of our office and introduce you to any available staff members. Once in your treatment room, we will obtain the necessary x-rays and pictures, then you will meet your doctor. A comprehensive exam of your entire mouth will be completed and measurements will be taken to determine your gum health. At this point we will discuss the type of teeth cleaning that will best suit your needs.
There's a good reason why you may not receive a teeth cleaning at your first appointment: Each new patient relationship often starts with an initial exam so your dental team can understand your needs and concerns first, then tailor your hygiene treatment to those needs. This way, you'll get the most out of your cleaning appointments and the time and attention you deserve.
Once your comprehensive exam is completed, the doctor will talk with you about their findings. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you the smile you need in a timeframe that fits your budget. Our financial coordinator will explain your plan and payment options, as well as answer any questions you might have about your account and/or dental insurance.
You will receive a copy of your dental treatment plan, which includes the price estimate for your recommended treatments. Your treatment plan is designed to prevent small issues from getting bigger and more expensive. It will address the problems that are bothering you now and may also identify others that could impact your long-term oral health.
If you haven't been to a dentist in a long while, please don't worry. You've made an important decision and we are happy to provide a judgement-free space for your care.
Please call us at (208) 375-8720 if you have any additional questions about our office or our staff.
